Tilu Khalayi is a filmmaker, author and philanthropist.

In 2001 she was hired as an intern on the film ALI and has since gone on to work on 23 film and television productions.  Most recently, she traveled to Uganda and South Africa as the 1st Assistant Accountant on QUEEN OF KATWE for Walt Disney Studios. 

Khalayi is a 16-year member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.  In 2012 she published FINER WOMEN: THE BIRTH OF ZETA PHI BETA SORORITY, 1920-1935, filling a void in the early documented history of the third historically black sorority in the United States.

In 2008 she co-founded THE NABUTILU FOUNDATION, a 501(c)(3) non-profit  organization dedicated to helping people globally through education and entrepreneurship.

A graduate of Bethune-Cookman College, Khalayi resides in North Carolina.
